Goodbye website, hello Indianapolis!

In case you haven't noticed, http://www.scarlett-fever.net/ has nothing to do with me anymore. It's still very pretty, but definitely NOT mine! Best of luck to whoever owns it now.

As for me --- news will come shortly and always a photo or two will be included. This is Indianapolis 500 week, and I have at least one plan and dream in the works. Believe it!

Desperately seeking fun!

Sometimes you gotta do something just because it sounds like fun, because you're in the mood at the moment. And that's what this lighthearted gallery is all about. No, it's not exactly what Marilyn Monroe did on the street in NYC over the subway grate......but the smile on her face, and her just-a-little-naughty attitude is what I wanted to capture. Hope you feel that when you see these photos! It took forever to get it shot, and I'm still working to get it all posted. We had a tremendously damaging ice storm the day after I started shooting - no electricity, water or transportation for over 700,000 people here in Kentucky. I had those conditions for several days. It's now more than 2 weeks later and 50,000 are still in the dark. Tonight we are under a tornado watch and isn't THAT lovely? But so far, everyone is safe and the lights are still on, at least at my house. So, take a minute on this February evening and smile - it's worth it!

I love bubble baths!

And actually getting to share it with you only makes it more fun, don't you agree? It's a new year and I have the strongest feeling it will be so much better than 2008. It was good and bad for me - how about you? Let's resolve right now to make 2009 the best in a very long time - I have total faith we can achieve it. One step in the right direction is to decide to stay in MUCH closer touch - I like that idea! Hope you enjoy the end of this gallery - luxurious bubbles and a luscious black slip end the evening on a lovely, lavender note. Next up - I've been thinking about that famous photo of Marilyn Monroe in her adorable dress, over the subway grate - remember? As her dress is blown around her legs by the wind.......she's a vision. In that spirit, stay tuned for "FAN-tasy".....a light-hearted homage to that photo, featuring a great red dress and lots of fun. An inspiring start to a wonderful new year. I'm grateful!
